For May I was required to create a "soul collage" which represents the things I like and appreciate, and things that I feel like I am a part of. Some of the things include Darrell Revis, former Patriots corner back, to represent my love of football, a watch and iPhone to represent my love of technology, and an Earth and a heart to represent my interests in science. The background of the calendar grid is the image reflected over the horizontal axis and then reflected over the vertical axis.

My June calendar features a dolphin which I created and edited on photoshop using the various tools they provide. I mostly used the spray tool on this calendar, and the blend tool. The essay for this calendar is a text path that travels around the dolphin and near the water.
This patriotic calendar represents the July spirit brought out by Independence Day. I created my own flag using Photoshop, and put a background of my favorite NFL team behind the grid, The New England Patriots. I edited my own "July 2015" text and put that in. I edited a poem about Independence to compliment the images. This calendar is smooth flowing with color and vibrant. This militaristic calendar depicts a fighter jet of the United States flying over a sheet of clouds backed by a sunset. I edited this photo in Photoshop and toyed with the lighting and filters. The background contains a blend of the main colors in the top photo, under a transparent shape. The colors of the text and lines of the calendar grid reflect the harmony seen in the top photograph. The essay is about the men and women serving in the military, and my views on the military and the U.S. This September calendar collage shows a multitude of places I have traveled to, including New Hampshire, Florida, Aruba, and Costa Rica. The essay describes these places that I have been too. The background of the calendar grid is a picture of a sunset taken at an Aruba airport. |
